Rules of Ikigai

I'm grateful for your belief in and dedication to reading the newsletter regularly. It's truly heartening to know that what I share might be making a positive impact on individuals' lives.

The concept of Ikigai, originating from the Japanese words "iki" meaning life and "gai" meaning reason or purpose, has been popularized in the bestselling book titled "IKIGAI" and has been embraced by the Japanese for generations. Allow me to outline some key principles for cultivating a profoundly meaningful life or discovering our own Ikigai:

Key Principles for Ikigai:

  1. Seek a mentor who can offer guidance in pursuing your passions.
  2. Go beyond your comfort zone and explore new experiences.
  3. Engage with like-minded individuals to share your passions and collectively grow.
  4. Reconnect with the values and dreams you held dear in your childhood.
  5. Acknowledge and prioritize your closest friends, giving them the attention they deserve.
  6. Solicit feedback from trusted individuals on your endeavors.
  7. Cultivate patience, perseverance, and practice in pursuit of your goals.
  8. Dedicate a minimum of 21 consistent days to establishing positive new habits.
  9. Draw inspiration from your life's most memorable achievements to motivate yourself.
  10. Discovering and defining your life's purpose is the ultimate Ikigai one can strive for.

By embracing these principles, individuals can embark on a journey to uncovering their Ikigai and leading a more fulfilling life.

Look at the venn diagram below on Ikigai. Create your venn diagram and make it happen in central point as your own Ikigai.

Hope you Enjoy
